Episode 2 | The Importance Of Investing In Yourself
Welcome to the very first no-holds-barred Business of Becoming conversation with my special guest Rebecca Tabbert. Let me just say that you never know who’s life you will change just by sharing your story with the world.
Not only is Rebecca an incredible woman, mom, mentor and business owner — I am certain that I would not be where I am today if it wasn’t for her story and her willingness to share it. So when I finally committed to doing this podcast (when I finally got over the fear) I knew she had to be my first interview.
I know her story will resonate with you, especially if you’re someone who is looking to quit your corporate job.
With no college degree, Rebecca Tabbert worked her way up the corporate ladder to earn 6-figure plus income by her early 20’s.
However, after the birth of her son and a devastating divorce shortly thereafter she turned to food for comfort, battled an eating disorder and struggled with her sense of self-worth and value (despite appearing to have it all together in the corporate world).
Her son as her bigger why Rebecca fought to get well. Rebecca became passionate to help empower other women to know their worth and teach them how to get stronger and fitter in mind body and spirit.
She left the corporate world 8 years ago, to her pursue her passion full time. Opened her first Fit Body Bootcamp 7 years ago.
Rebecca knows first hand the path to success is not a straight line but views challenges and adversities as opportunities to grow, and cultivate new levels of experiential knowledge when we chose to cultivate the right mindset.
